Over 15 years working in pharmacies and healthcare industries taught me a few things…

Mostly it has taught me that I am most effective when I value those individuals I’m serving and connect my service to their specific motivations, desires and goals.

I hold a deep conviction that the profession of pharmacy has to be more than provision of pills if we are to attain optimized outcomes in the health of the communities pharmacists serve.

I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree and Teaching Certificate from Cedarville University School of Pharmacy and completed a PGY1 residency at Health Partners Free Clinic. My background also includes a Bachelor’s degree in Practical Ministry and more than eight professional practice certifications and numerous awards including the 2025 Free Clinic Pharmacist of the Year Award.

You can often find me as a guest lecturer in graduate programs and national conferences on topics including pharmacy law, ethics, and caring for underserved populations. I am the founder of Desoveous Solutions, LLC, which focuses on meeting community needs through education, services, and health initiatives.
